Resolutions & Libraries: A Perfect Pairing


As we turn our calendars to 2024, many of us use the new year as an opportunity to craft a better future through New Year’s Resolutions. Whether you are looking to improve overall wellness, find new hobbies, or travel more, the New Berlin Public Library has materials in our collection that can help you start off strong! In the spirit of the season, we have curated a list of materials that could help guide you to a happy, healthy 2024.


Improve Wellness

Amongst the top resolutions each year are to improve fitness, eat healthier, and work on mental health. Listed below are some of your favorite books on these topics in 2023, based on our data. Learn Something New

If you are looking to pick up a new hobby or learn a new skill in 2024, the NBPL is here to help! First, check out the NPBL’s Library of Things, which has many items available for checkout, including various instruments, a bird-watching kit, photography and art equipment, baking kits, and so much more! The NBPL also provides access to Udemy, which offers almost 20,000 online courses on topics such as photography, computer programming, world languages, and more!
