Library Composting

Are you interested in composting, but don't have the space or commitment needed? Good thing we're here! We're starting to compost here at the library! Tuesdays starting May 10, stop by the library to drop off your compost by the garden.

Items we'll accept:

• Tea Bags and Coffee Filters

• Eggshells

• Fruit and Vegetable Scraps

• Shredded Newspapers

• Nut Shells

Items we will NOT accept:

• Yard Waste

• Pet Waste

• Boxes

• Fabric

• Meat/Bones

• Dairy

• Fats/Oils (butter, olive oil, etc)

• Coal or Ash
